Q1. How many nodes a Pentium 4 m/c with 1GB RAM can support ? Since I have only 5 nodes i am asking this question, if any one have implemented this can tell me.

Q2. I have 4working LTSP nodes and, most of the time it gives me problem like

- suppose i started only 2 nodes out of 4 then after 3/4 hours when i start other 2 nodes , then it get stuk at Loading vmlinuz......... , then i have restart tftp service on the server then these 2nodes work properly.

So, every time i need to restart tftp service. how to eliminate this issue. why i get stuk at loading vmlinuz image...............


Any help appreciated.

I have seen this as well, if you find a solution please post. I have only set up ltsp in some test environments but you may want to try a different tftp server. Also you may want to check out a project Red Hat is starting called stateless linux.
