looking for driver (8169)
 

Hi All,

I am trying to find a driver for my 8169 (Realtek) (r8169.o)

Can anyone tell me where I can find it or if I could use 8139 driver instead

I am running Gentoo 1.4 (Gnome2.2)

Has anyone got the same (8169) & got it working :confused:

I thought the 8169 module was for the 2.2 kernels. I'd try the 8139.too module and see if it works. If you compiled your kernel to include the module you should be OK, otherwise it's recompile time.
