Cool Load balancing two ISP links on Suse9.0

I have just got two links from two separate ISPs terminated via Ethernet to a SUSE 9.0 server. There is also a third Ethernet which serves the LAN

1) will I be able to give each of the two ISP Ethernet cards a separate gateway when i use yast to configure them?
If it is possible, what will be the gateway for the LAN ethernet; can it have two gateways at the same time?

2)In case one of the two ISP links goes down due to any eventuality, how do i setup the box to automatically change over to the other ISP link that is still up (/viceversa)?

regards

akistam

1)Well i am quite sure you can not use yast to configure 2 gateways like this ( i use slackware ) but for what your are saying just follow the lartc guide for multiple providers.
1.1) yes you can have a default multipath as a default route
2) you *will* build your own script that checks when one is down and switch to the other one, and viceversa .
