Load balancing across two internet connections?
I'm getting two connection to the internet for my home, a cable modem and DSL. I'd like to setup my Linux server to do load balancing across both, effectively giving myself "one" connection with bandwidth equal to the sum of the two physical connections. I've seen this done with OpenBSD and packet filter. I'm sure that a solution also exists for Linux as well. How would I go about setting this up? Any good how-to's etc?

You have a one to many description of load balancing at http://linas.org/linux/load.html
And a many to one description at http://linux-ip.net/html/ether-bonding.html nz |
Thanks but bonding will not work. I'm familiar with it and I know it can't do what I'm looking to do here.

Why not just a buy a linksys RV0X Router/VPN that does load balancing automatically for you?
