Lisa
Hi,
I'm sure that I'm missing something obvious, so I'm pulling on my flame suit ;->
I've got two slackware workstations on a LAN. They are running 10.2 with 2.6.10 testing kernel.
I can use SSH to connect and browse the other system.
I would like to create a mount point and mount my music directory on the other computer. I tried to mount it with KDE, and I can mount a "SMB" share (I have a samba server loaded there I guess is why).
But, my favorite music players won't browse the SMB share.
So I am wondering, how does one mount a volume on another Linux workstation within the same subnet?
Thx a lot for the kind advice,
desertViking
