Question

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get Linux to communicate with a Windows NT server? I would like it to login and be able to access shares as well as prints to printers on the server. There is a domain setup. I will probably have to use Red Hat or SuSe.

As far as printing, I could get a linux box to print to a shared printer on the NT server, but I could only get garbage from the printer. The printer is a HP Laserjet 5si.

Thank You

Something about 'samba', do you know ? Let try:

Ah...It seems to that you have already done sth 'samba'.
Just the problem of printing, was it? Look around your smb.conf file in the part of printing. Also, the printer drivers should be installed correctly...

Hope this'll be an idea.
