Actually i am facing one issue which may have answered previously. Let me explain the issue. My java application is running in RHEL 5. The application is connection to a windows NT machine using java.net.Socket class. Now i am able to ping the NT machine from my linux server but the method gives Connection Time out error. After some time it started working. So i guess this is some network related issue. But i dint know how to find that issue, but i assured that when i gives ping command the out put shows that the system is available in the network.
I can see a lot of log files in that directory. Message log files gives the incoming request informations. But where i can see the one when the server fails to connect to a windows machine.
