First off, I am a Linux newbie.
I had been using Ubuntu on my Asus u56e notebook and it would always have a driver issue that could be completely resolved with this resource:
I just switched to Mint 13 Cinnamon and I have the same driver problem. Running the commands below allow me to connect wirelessly without a problem:
sudo modprobe -r iwlagn
sudo modprobe iwlagn bt_coex_active=0
Unfortunately now, every time I log out I have to re-input these commands. Editing the file in gedit doesn't allow for a permanent solution as it did in Ubuntu. Does anyone know why this is?
