Linux joining Samba PDC

hi,

I have made out a first Samba PDC. My windows 98 and windows xp have no issue to login to the PDC. but, i have no ideas on how to make my redhat linux box login to the network. can u give me some pointers. thanks.

you could use pam_smb

http://www.csn.ul.ie/~airlied/pam_smb/

or you could use a toatly diffrent auth scheme .. export your password file with nis+ . Make you PDC use an ldap backend and authenticate with pam_ldap or Kerberose.
