Hi all:
I am currently doing HA in linux and need some help.
I have gone through linux-ha link also and the thing I want is my server node has 3 NIC cards, all aliased with multiple public IPs for NAT purpose. Now I want to setup a slave so that whenever my primary server goes down then it will take over with all the IP settings of server. Services are not that important.
But there is no such documentation where its mentioned how slave take over the IP's of master server. Everywhere its about virtual IP set with heartbeat in master.
ekta kam koren, ekta cron job likhen secondary tay: secondary proti minute ping korbay primary kay, na pailay ekta script chalabay jeta primary er ip address gula boshai nibay and service network restart korbay.
Grip,
then why they invented the High availability if we were to check by ping and do the needful. And how would bring back the master when its ok again.
