Linux Gateway
Hello,
I want to setup a linux gateway to the Internet so that i can share a dialup connection between 3 windows machines (2X windows 2000, 1X win98 atm). I'm doing this for a major project in the course i'm doing and i hve a few questions b4 i get started. 1. Am i going to be able to use a 486 computer as the gateway, will it offer faster enough performance for 56k dialup??? 2. How hard will it be to setup the gateway?? 3. Are there any good websites with steps on how to setup a gateway? 4. Are there any problems I may encounter that i should be aware of?? Any help would be grateful Thanks |
