I am currently running a ftpd server, but whenever someone log on.. it tries to broadcast on it's internal IP address, and not the external internet IP.. Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions

When the ftp client sends a request to the site, you can see the log, and the ftp server(or client) is actually trying to send requests to the internal network ip.

331 Password required for benj
PASS (not shown)
230 User ben logged in.
CWD /8649
550 /8649: No such file or directory.
pwd
257 "/home/ben" is current directory.
TYPE A
200 Type set to A.
PASV
227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,0,100,105,37)
Connecting to 192.168.0.100 port 26917
No Route to Host

See where it refers to the 192,168,0,100.... That's the internal ip address, instead of it's given internet ip address.
