Linux Firewalls [iso firewalls]
Hi, I've got a question.
I'm experimenting with iso-firewalls for a longer time now. I tried the smoothwall, the Mandrake Single Network Firewall, the fli4l, the ipcop and the trustix firewall, but no one fits my requests. I want to route the protocol nr. 47 (GRE) and the PPTP protocol to my client in order to create a vpn connection from my xp-client to another w2k server. Could you give me a hint how I can realise this? regards |
iptables will do this just fine

Ok
so I'll have to update the kernel of the singlenetworkfirewall from mandrake to the 2.4.16 kernel or is there another way? Linuxwall v.2 ? regards |
just build your own iptables script to be your firewall. there are some good docs on this at www.linuxdoc.org or lookup iptables examples with google.com
