Here is my setup. I have two computers computers connected to a windows router. This win router is connected to a cable modem and to my RM's Linksys router below me. He has three puters hooked to that router. I loaded SUSE 8.2 on one of my computers. I can connect to the internet with Linux if I plug my computer directly into the cable modem, no router between them. But once I hook the router back in I can't get out.
If someone could direct me in the right direction. I just have no idea where to start to see if I can configure linux to use the router. I can't find a Network settings icon
.
A weird thing is that the windows router is configured with the IP 192.168.2.1 . I can log into this router from windows by typing the IP into explorer. But when I type this into Konquerer in Linux, I get the login screen for my RM's linksys router, which has an IP of 192.168.2.2.
Dont make no sense to me.
