linux-apache-unable to connect to site
 

Though responsible for 2 cobalt raq have tried to set up a bup server on a local network its a compaq machine using red hat 7.2.
Installed ok , Apche appears to be running ok.
can view virtual sites from ok from this server.
Can ping other maches on lan. From another machine can ping sever ok but when try to view virtual site get 'Permission Denied'

Missing some thing simple, but what!

Probably already checked this but it never hurts.
Any .htacces files in your http root directory ?
Did u try creating a directory with a test webpage just to see if your default website has some access protection included ?

Thanks for suggestion, but had already tried.
Problem now cured , not solved, rebuilt server, 3 times with a couple of beers while waiting - result problem cured. No idea what was wrong everything looks more aless same.
