ok, i've tried tons of things to get this wireless card working. I have Suse 8.2 with a Linksys WPC11 v3. does anyone have, or know of a very detailed set of instructions on how to install this thing? i have seen a few guides that have alot to be desired. i guess i don't know much about linux, but i get to about the 2nd or 3rd step and wonder what they mean when i see:

1. configure via YAST, orinoco_cs.o driver (don't click PCMCIA option)
2. /etc/pcmcia/network.opts:
USE_SUSE_NETWORK_SETUP=no
3. add file /etc/pcmcia/linksys-wpc100.conf

actually i can complete most of it, but it leaves it open to alot of mistakes and if anyone can help with explanation on it, or modifications, i would greatly appreciate it.

btw, i found this in another thread.

also i used 2 IP addresses, one for my wired card ((eth0) 192.168.1.104) and one for my wireless ((eth1) 192.168.1.125). when i tried to ping from my laptop to my router, it would say:

PINGING From 192.168.1.104... blah blah blah and obviously wouldn't work because i don't have it plugged in.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
