Try "route -n" and "route" and "netstat -nr", "netstat -r" for trafficking. Try "hw info --netcard" and "/usr/sbin/hwinfo --netcard" for Ethernet Card data. "ethtool" and "miitool" for configuration. "nmap" will trace what/where when YOU need to. "dig" and "sudo/sbin/lspci -v" are story tellers. These are "shell scripts". Please use them in a terminal.
