linksys pcmcia on Ubuntu source drivers + configure
I'm using the latest Ubuntu and can't get my Linksys PCMCIA wireless card working.
I am completely new using this operating system - but learning fast, and love it!
I read somewhere that I need to download the RT61_Linux_STA_Drv1.0.4.0.tar.gz source drivers, but all links seem to be dead? Is this the correct route I am taking? If yes, where can I get this source drivers and what to do next?
Thanks - I give that a try. Tell your truth, I read that there are other PCMCIA wireless cards that works without configuration. Just tempted to buy a new one that is compatible and save all that headache. They dead cheap these days! Appreciated...
To be honest, I'd spend maybe an hour trying to figure it out, then move on. But on the other hand, you'll learn about how your computer works by getting this stuff working!
