lineighborhood help?


works great when I log in as root, when I login in as user I can see the smbmount but can not access it.

use
#which smbmount

check the permissions they must be
#ls -al
-rwxr-xr-x
If not so log in as root use
chmod 755 /usr/bin/smbmount
