Linaro 13.09; XCFE : Prevent new "X" desktops from being created when remoting in

Hi everyone.

Background: I have a linux headless server running the above on a local network.

In order to remote from my Windows PC, this is what I do:

SSH via port 22 from my windows PC to linux server via PuTTy. Then tunnel port 5901. Then use TightVNC Viewer for remote access from my Windows PC to Linux PC. It works great. However:

To conserve system resources, is there anyway to NOT keep setting up "New X desktops" when I remote in? AKA SSH'ing just views session already logged in.

Thank you!
