I have 5 xp pc's and 2 linux (cetos)pc's in my LAN.All XP pcs are able to ping linux boxes and able to access all shearing. But all xp pc's are not able to ping each other and not able to access sharing.
both linux boxes are not pinging to xp machines.
One linux box is having static ip and providing internet sharing in LAN.
Other Linux box is DHCP and SVN server machine.
All xp users are able to checkout from SVN and getting ip from DHCP server.
Can any body tell me why xp machines are not pinging each other as they are physically connected through a switch in LAN?????
It could be caused by firewalls on the XP machines; if you have any firewalls disable them (and maybe restart, some firewalls are rumoured to need that).
