LAN and DialUp setting
I have a LAN with three machines. To give some information, one is running FC5 and WinXP, the second Slackware 10.2 and Win2000 and the other one Suse 10. The LAN works fine, I can't say, but I face a problem with the dialup connection on FC (while on Suse was working fine). When I have plugged in the LAN cable and then I get connected via dial-up to the Internet, it seems that is searching to get the Internet conenction through the LAN and not dial-up. If I disconnect the LAN cable (like now) I get connected with to Internet with dial-up and then works.
I think that somewhere must be an option saying which interface to check for Internet connection and I have to chanage Ethernet to last one as I want to have LAN and dial-up working on the same time. I hope you could help me and thanks in advance! |
Problem solved. I had set default gateway and I shouldn't. It searching for the Internet conenction to that...
