Question L2TP VPN connections to an ISA Server

We are considering setting up a file/print server using Samba. A concern has been raised by WAN techie re:
have any Linux users / forums have successfully made L2TP VPN connections to an ISA Server (I cannot find any who have from the Microsoft side).

Thanks in advance for any feedback or directions as to how to deal with this issue.
