Lightbulb kppp dialup help please.


I just can't get online useing manfrake 8.1 and have read and tryed hundreds on scripts,options, here is what i get in log file. Think I have some screwy Ip useing some mirosoft software please help. Apr 16 22:06:58 localhost kernel: cdrom: open failed.

can you hear it dialing?

also if it is you may need to send something first.

you can do this in kppp by adding the manual scripts

send login
expect ame:
or
expect ogin:
only one will work
send login
expect ord:
send password


try to access it manually using minicom from an xterm or terminal.

it will allow you to log in manually

you may have to hit enter when it connects to initiate a login
