I already have LISA configured the way you are suggesting. And that's why I am able to browse the LAN with Konqueror by using the lan:/ ioslave. It works fine. The only problem with this is that it shows IP addresses of network hosts rather than their IP addresses.

Maybe you should also check your firewall. On my system, the smb kioslave works fine (actually better than windows, as everything appears instantly).
