Konqueror and Fish

I've got a laptop and a desktop both running slackware one 10.0 the other 10.1 both with kde.

On my laptop in the konqueror lan browser

I can see FISH and SMB under laptop machine name
I can see FISH, FTP and SMB under the desktop machine name

On my desktop in the konqueror lan browser

I can see only SMB under laptop machine name
I can see FISH, FTP and SMB under the desktop machine name

on my desktop if I type fish://laptop hostname
in the location bar it will connect to the laptop.

My question is why I don't see on my desktop in the konqueror lan browser FISH even though I can type fish://laptop hostname in the location bar.

Thanks in anticipation
