Hi All,
I am getting an var log error while mounting remote file system to the client side as:-
Kernel:NFS: Server 10.47.152.70 is not responding, still trying.
The issue is client side machine is getting hang, after i mount the file system.
I have exported the file system as ext3 at the server side using Veritas Cluster. And importing it on the client side by including the shared directory in fstab.

We are volunteers here...telling us to hurry up and answer you is fairly rude. If you need *URGENT* 24/7 tech support, go with a pay-for distro, like RedHat or SLES...they'll be there for you whenever you need them.
You also don't provide any information about your system (version/distro of Linux? Network configuration? Hardware? Disk?), so it's hard to give any help.
The error is fairly clear...the server can't be contacted. So either you're having a network issue, or a firewall issue. Not sure how Veritas is involved in this, since NFS is a 'stand-alone' type thing...the NFS server and client don't care what kind of disk is involved, only that it's present and responding. Since you're using Veritas, have you tried to contact their tech support?? You're paying for it, so they will give you a "quick response"....
Dear TBOne,
No hard feelings please and don't take otherwise.
I did'nt ask any one to hurry up,only requested to reply, in a humble way.
Actually i am using S2300 disk array at my server side and VCS to mount the system. It's a complicated architecture.
Thanks for your concern, issue is resolved now. Please consider this post as closed.
Issue was with compatibility. No issue with firewall or any third party software.
Regards
Ankit
