Kernel message.

Hello.

I have a server (IP - 10.113.11.101 obtained through DHCP) that is used solely as a SAMBA server.

Nothing has changed with the server, that has been running for about 10 months now. I notice now that when I go to the machine which is logged out in runlevel 3. It has this message on the screen which looks like it happens every 2 or 3 minutes.....

10.113.11.101 sent an invalid ICMP type 11, code 0 error to a broadcast: 10.113.11.255 on eth0.

Can anyone tell me what this might be? Or what might be causing it?

Thanks alot,

Regards,
Craig

Maybe you can fetch the packets with Ethereal sniffing on any device...
