Kerberos beyond one organisation

Hey.

I have startet to study Network Security, but don't got the books I have ordered.
Now I have to send in some answers to chapter 1 and 2 of the book "Design Network Security" can anybody help me out?

The question is:

"Can kerberos succesfully be used beyond one organisation? Hint: It can be problems with this kind of sollution"

I have read all I can find about kerberos, but can't find the answer for this question.
