joomla! 1.5 server behind a dsl router.email problem or dns

hello people!
I`m going mad with this one. please help
I installed Fedora Core 7 on a desktop computer on my lan.
the computer is behind my isp adsl box (speedtouch is the name of the box).also i have webmin installed, apache, sendmail and bind dns server.
On this computer I`m running Joomla 1.5.
My domain is registered and when trying to acces my site from internet is working fine.(port 80 is forwarded to this computer and mail server ports as well) but, and now comes the nasty part (I will describe it below):
When a user is registering on my site is getting an email wich contain a url to be clicked in order for the user to be registered.
here is the email:

Thank you for registering. Your account is created and must be activated before you can use it.
To activate the account click on the following link or copy-paste it in your browser:
http://192.168.1.67/index.php?option...841c26c6fef87b

the problem is that the email contains the LAN ip address and not the name of my site.Somebody told me that there is a problem with DNS records. others are saying that the problem is related to joomla installation others are saying that I am stupid etc.

what can I do? Please help! Im pulling my hair out for 1 week now, and i am reading all the forums but I really dont know what to do.
I1m counting on you guys.thanks

From the Joomla site...

The address that sends the e-mail is controlled in the Server->Mail Settings segment of the Global Configuration.

The actual message that is sent can be edited in the string SEND_MSG_ACTIVATE to be found in the joomla_root/language/en-GB.com_user. Replace en-GB.com with your own language prefix if applicable.

Hope that helps
