isa ne2000 card


i have an isa ne2000 card and it says it cant probe it and that i have to edit that rc.modules file.

what do i have to edit and what do i change it to to make my card work?

You should try to load the right module, which is probably ne2000. It will be:
modprobe ne2000 io=0x300 irq=11
And you should try all possibilities which are:
irq 3 5 7 9 11
io 0x280 0x300 0x330
If no success experiment with other values (those above are the most popular).
After you have it done, find in modules.conf line begining with ne2000 and make it look this way
ne2000 io=xxxxxx irq=xx
