Is there a way to know and drop ssh connection originating from Putty client?

Hi,

I am looking for a way to refuse connections from all SSH clients other than NXclient.

Is there a way in which, I can drop all connections originated from clients like Putty, Linux default ssh program, etc and allow only NXclient requests?

Is it something that I can do with iptables? or any way..please help.

Take a look at this thread here: http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ighlight=putty It seems like he is trying to do the opposite of you (but it should be the same idea). It looks like you would have to modify the source code of ssh and then compile it yourself. So I suppose the short answer is no.
