Under your home directory there should be a .vnc directory with a xstartup file in it. If there is not then create it.

mkdir ~/.vnc
touch ~/.vnc/xstartup

The xstartup file is about the same as a standard .Xinitrc file. Basically you need to have something like this in it as a minimum..

#!/bin/sh
fluxbox (or whatever window manager you like)
