is linux capable of remote install and unattended installation?


hi,

are these two features offered by linux?

- remote installation
- unattended installation

Yes most distros offer some type of ftp/network install.

unattended installation
Yes RedHat has the kickstart program, I don't know of any others.

And debian has...

And debian has FAI, stands for fully automatic installation, I can't get it too work, my linux knoweldge is lacking.
