Is it possible to Monitor the bandwidth utlization for ipsec tunnel ?


Hi Everybody,

i am using the firewall for the packet filtering polices and the ipsec tunnel

as well. In which i have ipsec tunnel to client should be monitored

Is it possible ?????????????????????

cacti or mrtg can do this. it can pull the stats from the virtual interface. or you can write a custom script that pulls the packet/byte data from an iptables listing and use that value to do an rrdupdate at certain intervals.

maybe the first option is most suitable
