is it normal for..


syslog to have entries of my eth0 going off and comming back on in like 10 seconds?
I seem to have them almost every hour..

They look something like..
May 28 08:47:24 main kernel: eth0: Media Link Off
May 28 08:47:39 main kernel: eth0: Media Link On 10mbps half-duplex

What is eth0 connected to? Hub, router, modem, cross-over?
