Is it better to use sftp to trasfer a file than to use NFS share?

Hi All !!!

Kindly look in to this matter !!

I have three systems ( two unix boxes and one windows box ) i want to trasfer file continously between these systems , 2 files every minute ( UNIX - TO - UNIX , UNIX - TO - WINDOWS ) here now which is the better way of transfering files ?
shall i use NFS SHARED( samba ) partitions for this transfer or shall i use SFTP to transfer these files between these servers?
which is the better way for transferring files ?
with respect to security , efficiency ?

plz send a reply regarding this and thanks in advance for any reply regarding this matter ....

To keep files in sync I would use rsync over ssh. I don't know if you can do it to a windows machine or not. I would not use NFS for Windows use Samba.
