Hi,

I am getting one problem...

In my network i have the Network Printer (Xerox) Ip Address is 192.168.0.51.. This printer everybody have the access.

Now i have two servers One windows 2000 server and Second is Linux Server..

In Linux server i configure the samba and IP Tables

I am getting one message always in linux server
The messeage given below:

192.168.0.51 sent an invalid ICMP error to a broadcast.

So please tell me how i can stop this message in my linux server..

This is saying that the Xerox printer is sending bad replies to ICMP broadcasts. To really "fix" this, the firmware on the Xerox printer would need to be repaired.

Hi,

I have done previous error solution.

Now i am getting one problem how i can stop ICMP on my LAN
which command are there and how ?
