IPCop - filtered packets?

Hey guys i've just installed ipcop v1.3

I am having problems pinging sites. I am able to resolve them but when i decide to actually ping them...i am unable to. I get an error saying the packet was filtered. 100% packet loss.

Clients are also unable to resolve DNS names.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Ive never used IPCop but all firewall software in linux uses either ipchains or iptables so check the output from this command

iptables -L or ipchains -L

this may help you configure IPCop to your liking or you could just learn how to use iptables. Its not hard at all.

go to www.tldp.org for information on iptables or ipchains.
