Question Ip


hi guys

can any one tell me how to find the ip of sys in linux and also how to share a folder and access it

Ip of sys ---> do you mean IP of system ?

run #ifconfig

Otherwise if you have two lan cards... then run #ifconfig eth0 or #ifconfig eth1

Sharing a folder over to which O.S. ?
Be more precise & detail in explaining your query next time.

sharing folders in linux....

If you want to share this folder over to windows os... Use SAMBA.
If you want to share this folder over to Linux/unix os.. Use NFS.

Google it or surf LQ networking forum for other help regarding respective sharing mechanism.
