invalid errordocument 404 /missing.htm


i am using apache2

and i have used vhosts

everytime i set

ErrorDocument 404 /missing.htm from commonhttpd.conf

but seems can't work!

anybody help me please? THX

the error_log show below
406 not acceptable /vat/www/error/asdfsdf.html.var

but i can go http://mydomain.com/error/asdfsdf.html.var

also ,i can errordocument "http://yahoo.com/"
just can't do errordocument /var/www/html
