internet sharing rehat 7.3 & win98

Goodàye
I am trying to get my redhat box to allow internet sharing with a win 98 machine. My connection is via satellite and that works fine from the linux box. The machines can ping each other both by IP address and name. Samba is up and working as is webmin.
Linux box 192.168.1.2
windows box 192.168.1.1
I`ve got the output suggested from a previous post:
[root@satellite /]# iptables -L
Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target prot opt source destination
ACCEPT all -- anywhere anywhere state
RELATED,ESTABLISHED

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)

[root@satellite /]# route

this question has been asked like several hundred times. try doing a forum search for the following words:

router
ICS
linux/win98
sharing connection

or anything like that, you should find several helpful posts, even some with step by step instructions. if after your search you dont find what you are looking for, i'd be happy to tell you what to do to get it working.

hope i didnt come off sounding mean. im really a nice guy
