I am having serious problems with my configuring my Red Hat 9 to use my CNET USB ADSL Modem for connecting to the internet. Well my ISP provides connectivity using PPPOA. I am unsure of the method of setting up my machine to connect to the Internet.

This machine is also giving internet access to another 10 machines in my office. Right now I am using Windows 2000 Advanced Server to do the same. Well can anyone advice as to how should I go about doing this. My Machine is a Pentium III with 512 Mb of RAM.

I am also setting up this machine as a Firewall and Proxy server. I am quite confident with these implementations but dont know how to workaround with the USB Modem and PPPOA. Like in Windows currently I install the drivers and software and make a connection which connects me to the internet. Please advice the best solution.

please contact the provider of the DSL modem for Linux Drivers.
USB modem is not going to work properly on Linux. Or trying switching to a regular DSL modem.
