Internet connection drops how to reconnect a file transfer

Hi

The internet connection that I have drops out frequently every 2 hrs or so

What I am trying to do is I am trying to download the ISO images for Fedora from a mirror site.

My internet connection drops every now and then and then My FTP download stops
How many time does linux tries to connect to the FTP server is i think about 6 or 7 times looking into the wget-log files.

Now I have incomplete downloads of disc two three and four. I dnt know how to reinitiate the same wget download like a DAP or GOZILL A does in windows.

Is there a way that I can download the files from the point the connection was dropped

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 646987776 Jun 19 06:22 FC3-i386-disc1.iso
-rw------- 1 root root 302744624 Jun 21 05:34 FC3-i386-disc2.iso
-rw------- 1 root root 191100568 Jun 21 05:34 FC3-i386-disc3.iso
-rw------- 1 root root 186033368 Jun 21 05:34 FC3-i386-disc4.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2049533 Jun 21 08:47 wget-log
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1172913 Jun 21 08:57 wget-log.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1062433 Jun 21 08:57 wget-log.2

Above are the files that are downloaded.

disc1 is complete
disc2 3 and 4 are not.
1)
Are these downloads waist ?
2)
Do I have to start them again ?

Please help

Thanks And Regards
JAS

Continue getting a partially-downloaded file. This is useful when you want to finish up a download started by a previous instance of wget, or by another program. For instance:

wget -c ftp://sunsite.doc.ic.ac.uk/ls-lR.Z

If there is a file named ls-lR.Z in the current directory, wget will assume that it is the first portion of the remote file, and will ask the server to continue the retrieval from an offset equal to the length of the local file.
