internet access through proxy

Here's a dumb question;

I've setup IPCop and I think it's working, the 'Dial on demand' is showing. Now, how do I point the browser to the internet.

I'm using Mozilla and Firefox. I know your supposed to go into (FireFox) Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Settings and then you snarkelfert stuff around so that it knows what the default gateway is.

Then what? How do I actually go on the internet?

(By the way, high lighting spelling mistakes is an awesome touch. I like that.)

firefox has nothing to do with default gateways, the app and the config detail are unrelated. under conection settings in firefox you simply specific what your proxy if for each relevant service, primarily http.
