Hi ,
My apologoies to the SYS-OPs of this forums as iam reposting my old query.
Iam trying to install RedHat 6.1 on my old HP Vectra machine.
It does not have option to boot from a CDROM so i had to create a boot floppy from the CDROM itself.
The machine does boots fine from the floppy fine ....however since i have a SCSI CDROM, the installtion stops there itself as it cannot read/boot from the SCSI cdrom.
Do i need to pass parameters to the installation prompt ?
Iam having a AMD SCSI controller with SCSI ID 5.
Thanks you for the help ( in advance )
With Regards,
Xanthium
