Installing DSL Modem

Hello everyone.

Pretty much as the topic says.

I have a 2Wire 1000SW DSL modem that is hooked up through an ethernet cable to my box.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Getting rp-pppoe will most likely fix about everything for you. Since you didn't provide much information, I'll assume this will be good enough

I filled in the required information in rp-pppoe and it gave me this error.

Error starting connection: TIMED OUT
/usr/sbin/adsl-start: line 194: 2709
Terminated $CONNECT"$@"
>/dev/null2>&1

It was set to work through eth0. Maybe I need to configure that?
