install telnet


I use mandrake linux 9.1. I cannot use the telnet service. I always get a connection refused error. Can any 1 tell me how to install this service??? And how to enable the service??? I know that it uses ssh as default. But i need this telnet to be enabled for my project.

can any 1 give the link to download the telnet package???

it should be on the CD, just look for the telnet RPMs, i think there are 2 of them, one for the server and one for the client.

if it's not on the CD, then try here:
