I have to install LINUX in a machine thats not the one I am using right now.
It does not have internet connectiion .... that machine.
I downloaded the packages, but when I try to install them on ubuntu, I always get dependency errors, no matther what.
I have all packages need.
Also I get dependency errors on samba.common, but I have it too.
I have packages for:
samba
smbclient
samba-common
smbfs
samba-test
I can not installed manually.
somebody ever install tham manually ????
Well, if you get dependency errors, you obviously don't have all the packages you need. You've got two choices:
- Download ALL the missing dependencies and install them, along with anything else that THEY may be dependent on, then install Samba
- Pick the computer up, take it somewhere, where there's an internet connection, and install online.
That's it. There's no trick to installing it manually via RPM, you just HAVE TO SATISFY the dependencies.
