Question Install & configure vpnclient


Does any one knows how to setup VPN client.
OS in use: Ubuntu 9.04, SuSE 11.1, Mandriva 2009.11

Solution with any one of the OS listed is invited.

Please mention the steps on how to install & configure and on the go.

What kind of VPN? PPTP? OpenVPN? Cisco? Besides this, the VPN administrator should've given you some pointers on what software to use when giving you your username & password. Wait.. you do have authorization to access the VPN, right?
